Welcome to the Orthodox Motorcycle Association (OMA). We are a nationwide Orthodox Christian motorcycle association open to men, women, and young persons 12 and over (with parental consent). You do not have to be Orthodox, own a motorcycle, or even know how to ride to join OMA – we’ll teach you. Simply be willing to try riding a bike (trike, quad, sidecar, pillion, etc.), have a love in your heart for helping people (Matt. 25:35-40), and support OMA in advancing men’s health/well-being in Christ’s spirit, mind, and body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23: “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
OMA was established 8.8.17 (OS) in Detroit, Michigan by Joshua “Maestro” Jobst as the support/parent club of the DOC (Dead Orthodox Club, the highest level within OMA) with the vision of people riding for Christ and building an Orthodox America by promoting men’s health and well-being in Christ. Heal men, and you heal the family and the nation. Riding motorcycles is Orthodox (modern-day Kozaks on iron horses riding in symphonia), brotherhood, healthy masculinity, trust-building, therapeutic, American, freedom, cool and fun in Christ. OMA also provides service, outreach, security, safety, education, transportation, love and compassion without discrimination to local communities and equips Orthodox missionaries with motorcycles (in America and abroad).
OMA welcomes all people without judgement. We proudly ride our motorcycles across America, witnessing to the grace, energy, and power of the Holy Spirit, proclaiming the healing and transforming power of Jesus Christ through His visible Body, the Orthodox Church, and helping those in need, especially suffering men, women, children, homeless, sick, mentally ill, and struggling folks. Please pray for us! Join us! And support OMA today for an Orthodox America!
